Your Garage | Giving It Some Love Will Save Time & Money

 Hello 🏡 and welcome to the garage, sometimes known as "The Black Hole" or perhaps " The Man Cave" ... Whatever your view (or name) for this multi-usage space which used to only be your car's home, we want to give you some ideas for why this spot in your home is so crucial to organize and how it can save you money, time and space!

Way back when, people only thought of the garage as a place to park their car, and maybe squeeze in a washer and dryer, but oh no, today this ideal room can be a sanctuary for learning, the Arts, the crafts, and well, anything you make a space for that you can dream up.

SAVING MONEY ( AND TIME!)  👀 

A FEW REASONS HOW YOU'LL SAVE:

How can my garage "save" me money, you ask? Well, it's because when you organize your things you will find them. Sounds so obvious, but here's our latest examples:

EXAMPLE #1. YOUR TOOLS 

 Do you really want to run to the hardware store again to buy one more box of nails? This family did, apparently, because instead of using the 4 boxes they already had buried in a drawer somewhere, they went out and burned an extra $7 for YET ANOTHER box of nails.... When we got things organized for this client, they realized that they wouldn't be spending time and gas and money to go out to the store again, but would effectively find and USE their current supplies! I know, it's sounds simple, and it is! 

To get your things in order will literally save you time and money.

Doesn't look TOO bad, until you find out that this family went and also bought another tool that we FOUND in the back! Spending the money and time that could have been saved if things were easily accessible or "seen".

 And HERE are those nails! A TON of them, like 5 boxes! And screws, a tape measure, and some little hanging hooks, and all sorts of stuff that will and CAN be used instead of going out to buy it over and over, which can wast precious money and TIME!

EXAMPLE # 2. YOUR CRAFTS & LEARNING SPACE

During this new COVID-19 way of living, we are truly home much more, obviously, and to make the most of your space, for either kids' school work or your own crafts, create an area in your garage that will help you focus on school work or crafts, and will indirectly save time & money in the following ways:

* You won't be looking all over for your supplies (time)

*You'll be finding what you need, not RE-buying it (time and money)

* You'll SPEND less time ON your work because you can focus and not be distracted by the TV, the pets, or whoever comes into the kitchen again to get a snack while you're at the table (your focus is worth TIME!)

3. LASTLY RE: MONEY | YOUR VEHICLE & IT'S VALUE

Not everyone wants to put their car in the garage, and with a single car garage some people just can't, but others have to because of harsh weather (hot or cold) so it's a good idea to organize your garage clutter and FIT your car inside because:

* Your investment (vehicle) will last longer and stay cleaner (less car wash runs $$) 

*Your car will likely be safer (less repairs $$$ because of the bicycle that didn't hit your side view mirror, AND didn't leave a note!!)  because it's IN the garage, etc,etc 

*You'll be saving TIME by not having to start it up, if you deal with EXTREME COLD conditions.

*You'll be protecting your car's components from harsh heat or rain, either will wear and tear in time.

* If you're in a rainy place, organizing your stuff to get your car inside will keep things DRY and NEAT as you load up your vehicle.
